Hartfield seniors presented creative and interactive ways to teach our elementary students about passages of scripture!

It was a special treat to see our Lower School students attentively listen and learn from our seniors about the truth of God’s word. From discussions on the Be-Attitudes found in Matthew 5 to exploring passages about being peacemakers and demonstrating love for others, each classroom was filled with enthusiasm, laughter, and a genuine curiosity to into the depths of scripture.
One of the highlights of the day was the seniors leading crafts that focused on verses from Matthew 5, emphasizing the importance of living according to the teachings of Jesus. As students participated in crafting activities, they absorbed valuable lessons about being blessed and the significance of embodying those qualities in their daily lives.

This day served as a testament to the power of friendship, highlighting the impact that seniors can have on shaping the spiritual development of younger generations. Through their selfless act of nurturing the faith of the kids in their classroom, the seniors exemplified the essence of servant leadership and a genuine love of others!
