Valentine’s Day weekend began with a precious Hartfield Academy tradition: the Father-Daughter Dance! K3 through 5th grade girls were escorted by their fathers to enjoy what is often their favorite night of the year on February 10th.
“Be Our Guest” was the theme for this year’s Father-Daughter Dance. Hartfield was transformed into a princess’ castle eliciting “ooh’s” and “ahh’s” from each of the beautifully dressed girls. Photo opportunities were available for a special keepsake, desserts were plenty and piled high, and the playlist for the dance floor was the best ever! While some were taking photos and savoring sweets, most girls and dads rushed to the dance floor. The girls danced to their favorite songs, took silly photo booth pictures together, and twirled around and around in their princess dresses. After a couple of hours of dancing and enjoying time together, the evening came to a close, cementing what we hope will be lifelong family memories made.
Hartfield Academy’s Father-Daughter Dance is a special tradition that is only made possible due to the hard work of the High School Student Council. Student Council presents the Father-Daughter dance as a school community-building event that also supports their year-long service projects.
Hartfield Academy is fully accredited by both the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the MidSouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of independent Schools (SAIS).
