Lower School Students Celebrate Dr. Seuss Day

They chuckled and laughed on that fun, fun day
As students dressed up in their costumes - HOORAY!
With hats and pajamas and Things One, Two Three, Four
Teachers enjoyed reading to their classes once more!
Rhyming, reading, and drawing too
Made for a fun day with plenty to do.
Hartfield students can certainly say
We loved reading and writing today!
This month our East Campus students celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Because of the impact he has had on young readers, his birthday on March 2nd has been named National Read Across America Day.

Dr. Seuss has surely created some wacky characters! We had the best time seeing our students recreate classic characters from their favorite Dr. Seuss books. The Cat in the Hat is always a classic, we had a few Thing 1s and Thing 2s. There’s also Cindy Lou Who (doing that hair has to take a team though!), and even Yertle the Turtle. There were fun characters to see all over East Campus - We even had teachers dress up too!

We always love fun days like this on campus!
