Avery McDaniel, Emerson Harkins, Garrett Jackson, and Sarah Sunday Holmes selected into Hartfield's First Hall of Fame

Congratulations to our 2022-2023 Hartfield Hall of Fame recipients Avery McDaniel, Emerson Harkins, Garrett Jackson, and Sarah Sunday Holmes!
The Hartfield Hall of Fame will honor seniors that demonstrate the characteristics of a Hartfield Man & Woman.  The Hartfield Man and Woman Award has been an integral part of our growth as a covenant-Christian school by setting a high standard for what we are all called to be as followers of Christ.  In accordance with our mission statement, this award honors seniors that have pursued academic excellence, served others selflessly, grown spiritually, and we believe they are ready to pursue the next stage of their life with purpose and passion for Jesus Christ.

They exhibit and demonstrate the five student aspirations (Devoted Christ Follower, Lifelong Learner, Servant Leader, Relationship Builder & Committed Hard Worker).  These honor and fulfill the individual character traits outlined previously for the Hartfield Man & Woman.

This year we are proud to shift from one Hartfield Man recipient & one Hartfield Woman recipient to the Hartfield Hall of Fame, which will have four honorees each year going forward.  Even moving to four honorees leaves our faculty with many more deserving seniors to nominate than only four.

"A Hartfield man rejects passivity, accepts responsibility, and leads with humility. He relies fully on Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of his sins and wholeheartedly trusts Him. He recognizes the importance of serving and delightfully takes part in the Great Commission. He calls out the greatness that is seeded in others. Knowing that victory is his destiny, the Hartfield man stands with courage against the evils of this world. He is grateful to The Lord for all the blessings in his life and gives credit to God for every accomplishment.”

“A Hartfield woman is secure in who she is, for certain her foundation is the Lord. She hungers for the Word daily while striving to lead her peers to the same fulfillment. Her actions are not self-seeking. She is marked by a gentle spirit, patience, kindness and humility.” She knows she is restored by grace and is joyful because of her redemption. She sees the needs of others and acts upon it. The Hartfield Woman seeks to express her inner beauty with a kindred spirit, uplifting tongue, and a servant’s heart.”
Hartfield Academy is fully accredited by both the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the MidSouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of independent Schools (SAIS).
