Hartfield Academy Players Chosen for Clarion Ledger All-State Volleyball Team

Julia Dyess and Addie McNeely have been selected as members of the 2019 Clarion Ledger All-State Volleyball team. The team is selected by the Clarion Ledger sports staff with input from coaches from around the state of Mississippi.
Junior Julia Dyess is the first-ever Hartfield volleyball player to receive a Division I offer, and is committed to play for Ole Miss this fall. Described by Coach Morgan McNeely, Dyess is a dynamic athlete whose defense was an anchor for the team in the back court.

Addie McNeely, a Sophomore, played a crucial role in the Lady Hawks’ offensive attack this season. She was also a year-long consistent offensive player, and hit for a team-high kill percentage all season. McNeely has also received early interest from Division I schools.

Both Julia Dyess and Addie McNeely have performed at a remarkable level this season and are sure to leave their mark on the Hartfield Hawks Athletics program upon graduation. Their coaches are incredibly proud of their attacking performance as well as their leadership on and off the court. Along with the coaching staff, Hartfield Academy is honored to be represented by such quality athletes on a state level.
