Hartfield and Community Bank Leaders Celebrate Community Bank Field

Over the last several years, the Colbert family and Community Bank have been incredible advocates and supporters of Hartfield Academy, including (but not limited to) the Community Bank Field project. 

On the subject of this recent project, Head of School David Horner shares, "We couldn't be more grateful for the impact Mr. Thomas Colbert has made upon our school. From our theater space shared by all grades at our Main Campus, to a science lab in the Upper School area, to our beautiful new field, Mr. Colbert and Community Bank have no question made their permanent mark upon Hartfield Academy."

Mr. Horner continues, "For years, their support has enabled us to do more and go farther than we ever thought possible. The impact goes far beyond the material - I personally have been encouraged by Mr. Colbert's spiritual investment in the life of our school. There is not a doubt in my mind that both he and his wife, Ann, are consistently praying for our families, which makes an invaluable eternal impact."

"Community Bank is an integral part of our Athletic program as a whole. Their investment in the field provides a space for all of our athletes to train, practice, and play. Our school and Community are better because Community Bank is centralized in Rankin County," adds Head Football Coach Craig Bowman.

When asked about the special relationship his family along with Community Bank shares with our school, Mr. Colbert had this to say: 

“It is an honor to support Hartfield Academy and the work they are doing in the lives of Hartfield families. Community Bank is proud to support such an outstanding institution. Our hope is that through this contribution the environment of growth and success for students at Hartfield will continue to be elevated.”

Thanks to this special partnership, families just like the Lathams can enjoy Community Bank Field for years to come. Natalie Latham, Community Bank Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing, and Hartfield mom of Tyler (5th) and Taylor (7th) said of Community Bank Field: "Having two sons at Hartfield who love the game of football, this project will make a lasting impact on their years at HA. The pride and excitement my elementary and middle school children had this season in being able to play on the beautiful new turf field truly warmed my heart."

Natalie adds, "Both Hartfield and Community Bank work diligently to make a huge impact in our local community through their Christian values and commitment to improving the lives of people around them. It is an honor to be a part of both institutions."
