Hartfield Cheer and Dance Win at 2022 MAIS Spirit Competitions
Hartfield Academy's Varsity Dance Team and JV Hawkette Dance Team as well as the JV Cheer Squad won State Championship titles at the 2022 MAIS Spirit Competition! After much hard work and determination, our cheer and dance teams have achieved a well-deserved honor.
Varsity dance won 1st place in the 6A Pom State Championship, the JV Hawkettes won 1st place in the 6A JV Kick State Championship, and the JV Cheer squad won 1st place in the 6A Gameday State Championship. These state titles require hard work and determination and this year that hard work paid off! Varsity Dance is coached by Addison Smith and choreographed by Taylor Willoughby. The JV Hawkettes are coached by Chelsea Adams and also choreographed by Taylor Willoughby. The JV Cheer Squad is coached by Kaye Donald and choreographed by Storm Chaffin.
Each year, seniors from each team have the opportunity to compete in the All-Star competition. This year, three seniors from our Varsity Dance Team were awarded this honor. Congratulations to Avery McDaniel, Emerson Harkins, and Emma Simpson!
