Hartfield Academy Announces Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Hartfield Academy is proud to announce Victoria Rogers, as the Valedictorian, and Avery McDaniel, as the Salutatorian of the Class of 2023.
Victoria Rogers is the daughter of Kevin and Amy Rogers and the sister of Brianna Rogers. She and her family are members of Crossgates Baptist Church.

Victoria began Hartfield Academy in the second grade when Hartfield first opened.

During that time, she has received numerous academic and subject awards, including Dual Credit Political Science, AP Physics, and Dual Credit Chemistry.

Victoria has received the Head of School award in each of her years at Hartfield. Victoria is a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta and is in the 30+ ACT Club. Victoria was involved with many different clubs at Hartfield, but she most enjoyed serving as a lawyer on the Mock Trial Team for the past three years. Outside of school, Victoria has played the piano for ten years, and she enjoyed playing the keyboard for the worship team for Hartfield Awakening this past year. Victoria loves reading and creative writing, and she has won several statewide writing awards and had an article published in Mississippi Christian Living magazine. This year, Victoria was also honored as one of only 30 Mississippi high school students selected as Christian Leaders of the Future by Mississippi Christian Living magazine.

Victoria had the opportunity to serve the local community through Hartfield’s Arise Service Days, as well as serving through mission trips to Brownsville, Texas, and to the Dominican Republic.  She has loved helping with children’s church and Bible schools over the years, and enjoyed keeping Hartfield elementary students – mostly second graders - after school in Hawks’ Nest this year.

Victoria will be attending Mississippi College in the fall, and she is considering a major in math and a minor in Spanish.
