Welcome Back, Hawks: Reflecting Back on the First Day of School
The 2022 - 2023 school year marks a new beginning for all! You could feel the excitement from every staff and faculty member from their arrival early on campus. Since August 8th, each day has been filled with activity and excitement as we enter new beginnings, new connections, and endless possibilities.
After taking the annual first day of school pictures at home, students were greeted with smiling faces and big waves from the faculty in the carpool line upon arrival. New backpacks were shown off, summer projects were in hand and our senior class kicked off their day with a special celebration! The first day always comes with excitement, and you could feel the energy from the students who were excited to see each other again!
As the school year continues, it is our goal to bring that same 'first day' amount of enthusiasm into each day, knowing that we are fortunate to pour our time, energy, and efforts into this special school.
As you, also, reflect on the first day of school and the busy weeks since, we encourage you to thank God for His protection and guidance as we have navigated this beginning together. Let’s live each day with excitement like it’s the First Day of School!
