The Light that Brings Joy: Hartfield Family Christmas

Hartfield Family Christmas is a treasured event that is anticipated by the Hartfield community all year long. This year, families got to share a night together celebrating the Light that Brings Joy, Jesus Christ.
Hartfield Family Christmas was a delight for all - from the Scripture Tree to The Sweet Shoppe, family portraits by Hull Photography to the beautiful lighting, there was meaningful holiday fun at every turn. Special thanks to Valley Services for providing the sweet treats in the Sweet Shoppe and Elks Lighting for donating all of the gorgeous lights that surrounded our families on December 5th.

Our K3 through 4th graders dazzled audiences at each of their Christmas music performances at Hartfield Family Christmas! As Mrs. Lucas, Lower School Head, always says, there is nothing like the little voices of children singing songs about Jesus and the meaning of Christmas to get you in the Christmas spirit. We are proud of our little performers! Each class performed the following songs:

K3 – "Away in a Manger," "A Quiet Lullaby," "Peace on Earth Tonight," "Celebrate Jesus’ Birthday,"
"Joy, Joy, Joy to the World"
K4 - "To Bethlehem," "1, 2, 3 People," "No Room," "All I Have"
K5 & 1st – "Happy Birthday, Jesus," "Dear Jesus," "Birthday!", "I’m Tellin’"
2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grade – "Jesus Means Christmas to Me," "Children, Go Where I Send Thee,"Born Is the King"

We thank you so much for sharing a special night of celebration with us, and we especially thank all the volunteers who made Hartfield Family Christmas possible. Jesus is the Light that Brings Joy!
