Get Involved with the Hawk Club Today!

Hartfield Athletics is off to an incredible start to the 2020-2021 season. We are fortunate to have top-notch athletes led by outstanding coaches, all with the same goal: to honor God and grow as disciples as we perform at the highest level possible. Beyond the daily sacrifices made by our athletes and coaching staff, our success as an athletic program is largely due to the support of a very important organization: the Hawk Club at Hartfield Academy.
The Hawk Club is vital to the continued success of each and every one of our athletic programs. Not only do they provide tangible assets for each team, but they largely serve as an opportunity for parents, family members, and supporters of Hartfield Athletics to serve our school. “The Hawk Club board is made up of a service minded team that wants to help Hartfield become the best it can be,” says Hawk Club President, Joey Boyd. “The Hawk Club was formed to serve needs and by serving those needs, we feel part of the teams. Our Hawk Club members are a big part of the success we are able to celebrate together as a school.”

Joey and the rest of the Hawk Club leadership is thankful for relationship they have with Hartfield coaches, athletes, administrators, and families. “They motivate us to strive to do more and provide as much as we are able,” he says.  “The board certainly gets excited buying things like the State Championship banners, but seeing all our programs improve year over year is very satisfying.”
Hartfield students have the opportunity to thrive and make memories here on campus thanks to the many projects undertaken by the Hawk Club. Some may know the full extent of the impact the Hawk Club has made upon our school! In the past 24 months in partnership with various donors and other fundraising ventures, the Hawk Club has spearheaded the following projects:
  • Refinished gym floor
  • Pitching machine for softball/baseball
  • Equipment and Miscellaneous items for sports teams
  • Community Bank Field contribution
  • Freezer for outside concession stand
  • Practice Clock for outdoors, used by multiple sports
As evidenced above, the Hawk Club is an integral part of the daily function and prosperity of our athletic programs. We are grateful for the special role they play in helping us be #OneHartfield.
Have you been feeling a desire to serve Hartfield Academy in a tangible way? Do you share a passion for sports, and the unique work God can do through them? Getting involved with the Hawk Club may be just the thing for you!
