We are excited to announce a new parent-led initiative at Hartfield Academy: the Hartfield Parent Association! An organization centered around the goal of "Bridging Connections," HPA was created with every Hartfield family and staff member in mind. Big things are ahead for HPA, so consider yourself officially invited to join in on the movement!
In direct partnership with the vision of Hartfield, the Hartfield Parent Association works to build up parents and staff academically, emotionally, and spiritually. The strongest communities are those that have a deep and abiding connection between its members - HPA's aim is to build and solidify the ever-important relationships between parents and Hartfield faculty and staff. Very much a group effort that requires "all hands on deck" to thrive, HPA is for every parent to find their place in service to God's purpose for our school.
Beth Rhodes and her family are new to Hartfield Academy this year, and she is excited for the launch of HPA. "I am looking forward to having a platform where parents can find ways they can fit in and serve within the Hartfield community," she shares. "Speaking as a new family to this school, it is important to know you have a place to turn to when you want to connect with other families or have questions. We want parents to know that their voice matters and is heard. We want to work together to become ONE! #OneHartfield"
Sara Sharp, Hartfield mom of six years to Avery (K5) and Walker (4th), added, "During our six years, Hartfield has been a tremendous blessing to our family. My children are loved on and poured into each day by such loving and godly teachers and administrators as they grow both academically and in their faith. Organizations like the HPA are so important because they serve as a bridge between the faculty, administration, and its families. It is a way for parents to walk beside our school as we partner together to raise up the next generation of leaders, living out their God-given purpose."
