Hartfield Academy’s Zach Sorey To Play Collegiate Soccer

Hartfield Academy is proud to celebrate Zach Sorey’s signing with Co-Lin Community College where he will be playing soccer in the fall.
Sorey started his soccer career at Hartfield Academy in the 7th grade. Over the last six years, he has been a staple of the program’s growth and success. Watching Sorey play is always exciting as he uses his natural talent to see the field and create results no matter the challenge.

Sorey has been a catalyst for the Hartfield Academy Boys Soccer team, helping them participate in the State Championship three years in a row. As captain of the team his Junior and Senior year, he led the team to major wins in the State Championship against Washington School (2019-2020) and Pillow Academy (2020-2021).
“Zach shows up in the big games,” explained Jake Benton, Head Soccer Coach, “he doesn't shy away from the moment but takes charge instead. It has been an honor and a pleasure to be able to coach a special talent. I hope he never loses his drive and continues to pursue his dreams.”
Hartfield Academy is fully accredited by both the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the MidSouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of independent Schools (SAIS).
