Hartfield Academy Announces Valedictorian and Salutatorian
Hartfield Academy is proud to announce Molly Holaday, as the Valedictorian, and Megan McMinn, as the Salutatorian of the Class of 2021.
Throughout her High School years, Molly has pursued academic excellence, receiving top subject area awards in Chemistry, English Composition, American Literature, and World History. Molly is a member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Youth Legislature, and will graduate with an outstanding 4.94 GPA. Outside of school, Molly was committed to serving weekly at Blair E. Batson where she would offer relief to caregivers by entertaining their children for a few hours. She also volunteered as the Team Manager for Hartfield’s basketball team and always enjoyed cheering on the Hawks. Molly has balanced academic success, school participation, and service like few students can. She will be attending Wheaton in the fall.
Megan has excelled at Hartfield Academy as a Member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honors Society, and the winner of the Colvard Future Leadership Scholarship. Graduating with an impressive 4.68 GPA, she maintained high academic scores, while being an active member on several sports teams. Throughout her time at Hartfield, Megan was a member of the Varsity soccer and volleyball team. She was also a cheerleader. Megan’s heart for community service was often witnessed as she participated in serving the homeless in downtown Jackson. Megan will be attending Mississippi State in the Fall.
