Our August Upper School #TeacherFeature is Pack Toler, Hartfield 8th Grade Bible Teacher and Varsity Football Offensive Coordinator!
A Teacher Feature highlights one Upper School and one Lower School teacher each month as a goal to get to know a few exceptional teachers on campus! Highlighting students on social media is pretty easy to do. Their accomplishments are frequently on display during the school day. But what about our teachers? They are amazing too, and we want you to get to know them better!
Meet Pack Toler!
Why do you choose to work at Hartfield? Because I want to see students changed by the Gospel.
What do you love most about teaching? I love getting to share my passion for God and the Bible and I love seeing students develop a curiosity for spiritual things.
What do you love about Hartfield? The group of people who work here. They are what make this place so special.
What is your favorite part of the school day? Lunch- food is my love language.
What is something most people don't know about you? Although I love football and enjoy coaching it, I would not be a coach if not for the ministry aspect of this place. My purpose is to lead students closer to Christ using football as a tool.
What is your favorite Bible verse? “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
Why is the above verse your favorite? I think it is a good picture of the Gospel in one verse and I like knowing that the old Pack is dead and gone and I am something new now with Christ living in me.
Hartfield Academy is fully accredited by both the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the MidSouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of independent Schools (SAIS).
