Fourth Graders Serve Through Operation Christmas Child
Hartfield Academy fourth graders recently had the opportunity to love and serve others through their annual mission project, Operation Christmas Child. Throughout November, students learned about the impact of this global outreach, discussing the difference between needs and wants and what it means to put others before themselves.
Before Thanksgiving break, each shoebox was carefully packed and then prayed over before being sent to its designated location. Students prayed for the boxes to arrive safely, for the children who would receive them to experience joy, and most importantly, for the salvation of each child on the receiving end.
Watching students take part in this meaningful project was a special reminder of hearts being shaped for service, trusting that the Lord hears our every prayer!
Hartfield Academy is fully accredited by both the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the MidSouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of independent Schools (SAIS).
