Hartfield Academy Students Inducted into National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta

On Thursday, October 2, 2025, Hartfield Academy recognized students for their outstanding academic achievement during the annual induction ceremony for the National Honor Society (NHS) and Mu Alpha Theta (MAT). Families, faculty, and friends gathered to celebrate this distinguished group of students who exemplify excellence both in and out of the classroom.
Mrs. Carrie Kimball, National Honor Society Advisor, led the NHS portion of the ceremony. She reminded students that membership in NHS represents more than academic success, it calls for a commitment to serve others and lead by example. National Honor Society officers Hayden McMinn, Ben Hooks, Cooper Christopher, Mary Taylor Clark, Briana Rogers, and Josh Holmes each shared the organization’s foundational pillars: Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service, along with an additional candle symbolizing Spiritual Integrity, which represents living for and serving Jesus.

Following the candle-lighting ceremony, new members recited the NHS pledge, committing themselves to uphold the society’s values and to let their light shine before others, as reflected in Matthew 5:14–16.
