First-Ever Charity Ball Raises $6,000 for The Mustard Seed!

Hartfield’s Student Council introduced a meaningful new tradition this year with the launch of the Charity Ball, a school dance designed not only for a fun Friday night, but for something so much greater! The event raised $6,000 to benefit The Mustard Seed, a ministry that serves adults with developmental disabilities by providing a loving, Christ-centered community where individuals can grow spiritually, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.
The night began with a special experience for Mustard Seed participants, known as “Seedsters,” who attended a Hartfield high school basketball game and were honored at halftime with a special recognition. Following the game, students changed into dresses and suits paired with sneakers and gathered for a fun night filled with LOTS of pictures and having fun being together. Food trucks lined the event, and a live band made up of Hartfield students provided the soundtrack for the celebration.

More than just a dance, the Charity Ball reflected the true heart of Hartfield students. Through their generosity, students created a fun event for their friends while giving sacrificially to serve others. We are enjoyed this student council and the way they serve others first!

Hartfield Student Council is excited for the Charity Ball to become a lasting Hartfield tradition!
