Hartfield Academy Boys Basketball Win State Championship!

The Hartfield Boys Basketball team won the 4A State Championship game against Starkville Academy on February 27th, after defeating Hillcrest Christian School (Semifinals) and Bayou Academy (Quarterfinals). In the Championship game, players Josh Lee and Jonathan Lucas dominated the floor. Lee had 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 steals and his teammate Lucas had 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.
With a winning score of 45-20, the Hawks closed out their season and will move up to the 5A Division next year. 
“I am so proud of our boys and coaching staff, especially our Seniors: Jake Jesiolowski, Will Edwards, Brysun Redmond, Josh Lee, Regan Henderson, Jonathan Lucas.  We have had a remarkable season.  Winning the 4A State Championship is quite an accomplishment considering all the good teams and coaches in this classification,” said Coach Steven Makamson.
Hartfield Academy is fully accredited by both the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the MidSouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of independent Schools (SAIS).
